How do I create a new packing list?
Tap the big + button on the home screen, type your destination or activity (e.g. "beach trip" or "Berlin"), and let Hampy suggest items for you. You can also add custom items anytime.
Can I use Hampy offline?
Yes! Hampy works completely offline. Your lists are stored locally on your device. The only features that need internet are weather suggestions and AI-powered packing suggestions.
How do recurring lists work?
Open any list, tap the recurring icon, and set how often it should reset (daily, weekly, or monthly). Your list will automatically reset to a fresh state at the scheduled time, keeping your checklist items but resetting checkboxes.
How do I backup my lists?
Open Settings and tap "Backup & Restore". You'll get a unique backup code. Save it somewhere safe. To restore, enter the same code on any device.
Can I share my packing list?
Absolutely! Open any list and tap the share icon. You can send a beautifully formatted text version of your list via WhatsApp, iMessage, email, or any app that supports sharing.
How does the AI suggestion feature work?
When you create a new list, type a description like "weekend camping" or "business trip to Tokyo". Hampy uses AI to suggest relevant items you might not have thought of. You can enable or disable AI suggestions in Settings.
